Checking land line voice messages away from home

Is there a way to check my Rogers home phone "land line" voice mail messages when I'm not at home?

Re: Checking land line voice messages away from home

You can call your home number then press 9 when you hear your message.  This should get you into your voice mail after entering your password.

If you're out of town, there's also voice mail access numbers to call for your voice mail (so you don’t have to dial long distance.)  For example, the access number in the GTA is 416-901-MAIL.

Hope this helps!

Re: Checking land line voice messages away from home

Here is a list of more voicemail access numbers you can use to check your voicemail if you are away from home.  Simply dial the remote access number, and then enter your own phone number and the # key.  The system will then access for your voicemail password (same password you use from home to access VM), and then you will have access to your voicemail messages while away from home.

Re: Checking land line voice messages away from home

Thanks masamune!

Just learned about a few more handy ways to check your voicemail while away from home...

1)  All those individual access numbers can now be replaced with 187ROGERSVM  (1-877-643-7786).  Now you can check your vm from anywhere with one number and dont have to worry about LD charges!

2)  You can have all your voicemail emailed to any email address in a wav format.  Therefore anywhere in the world if you have access to your email, you'll have access to your VM, as every messages will be emailed to you.  I had to call into rogers customer service to set this up.  It only took a few minutes to set up and has been working great since.  Its an awesome way to stay on top of voicemail, and best thing is that there is no additional costs.

Hope that helps
